Adrian enjoys working in both freehand drawing and digital illustration and a combination of both is used in his works. His main sources of inspiration are science and history particularly the visual studies by the Medieval and Renaissance masters. Coming from a Graphic Design background, Adrian feels that ideas worth sharing should get the message across by striking the audience. However, he feels that messages shouldn’t always be straightforward. Does it invoke curiosity? Does it give a sense of wonder? His goal for the audience is to do a double take, and spend time with the piece.
At the moment Adrian is in his final year in Graphic Design & Interactive Media and working on the modularity and illustrative aspect of typography through his dissertation. Adrian would like to pursue his career in Graphic Design while also focus on self-directed projects.
