Caesar Attard started art practice at the Malta School of Art and later attended the Accademia Pietro Vanucci, Perugia.  He has been active in the local art scene since 1969 and has participated in various exhibitions in Malta and abroad. Attard was member of art groups Spectrum ’67, Atelier ’56, and Vision ’74.  He has shown paintings and drawings in solo exhibitions such as “Drawings” 1980, “Fear and Risk” 1987, “Life and Passion” 1992, “Paintings and Drawings” 1994, “->” 2007, and the BOV Retrospective Exhibition in 2008. Since the early 70’s he experimented with non-traditional forms in “Human Pantographers – a happening in the language laboratory” 1972, “Fittex Lilek Innifsek!” 1976, “100 Free-standing Units” 1977, “Graphicon” 2000, and “Unfinished” 2007.

Attard was teacher of Art as well as Lecturer at the Junior College, University of Malta, until 2011.
